Startup Sequence + Launch Prep

The original horned-head startup concept finally became a real first-entry sequence, alongside brand favicon cleanup and Cloudflare launch preparation.

Startup Sequence

  • Recreated the original click-to-enter splash concept using the legacy horned-head emblem from the early site mockup.
  • Added the CLICK ME → LOADING sequence before orange and blue signal streams flood the screen into the modern site.
  • The intro runs once per browser session so normal navigation is never interrupted.
  • Added keyboard support, an Escape skip control, reduced-motion behavior, and ?intro=1 for manual replay testing.

Brand Cleanup

  • Replaced the default Astro browser icon with a favicon derived from the current EthinIsBored wordmark.
  • Preserved the old horned-head emblem strictly as a startup-era legacy artifact rather than reintroducing it as the modern logo.

Launch Prep

  • Added Cloudflare Pages redirect and security-header files.
  • Added a deployment checklist for GitHub → Cloudflare Pages → ethinisbored.com.
  • Prepared the site for automatic rebuilds whenever the repository changes, including CMS-authored posts and gallery entries.
