MANAFROST STUDIOS / GAME PROJECT

SLAYER

A veteran monster hunter. A world coming apart at the seams.

A focused, single-player supernatural first-person shooter built around the satisfaction of a classic, handcrafted campaign. Wands, blades, spellcraft, and strange things that should have stayed on the other side.

SINGLE-PLAYERSUPERNATURAL FPS13 MISSIONS PLANNEDIN DEVELOPMENT

01 / THE PREMISE

Somebody has to close the door.

Crow has spent his life dealing with the things most people only know from nightmares. When a disturbing incident draws him to the Eldritch Ward in Astoria, Oregon, he finds evidence of something far bigger than a single breach.

A secretive occult organization called the Malfeasance, led by the sorcerer Malice, is pursuing a plan that threatens the boundary between Earth and the Realm of Undying.

This is a story about a professional in over his head, not a rookie discovering magic for the first time.

02 / COMBAT PHILOSOPHY

Simple tools. Dangerous possibilities.

Slayer takes cues from the deliberate, readable encounter design of classic campaign shooters. A compact set of tools should produce interesting decisions, rather than burying the player in endless menus and loot.

01

Wand & dagger

A veteran Slayer's essentials: a mana-powered ranged wand and a dagger for close quarters. Switch between them as the fight demands.

02

Spell loadouts

Equip four spells at a time from a compact arsenal. Cast them instantly, then change your selection in Sanctum rooms.

03

Potion bombs

Alchemical explosives serve as the game's limited-use grenade equivalent, adding another tool to the encounter sandbox.

04

Movement magic

Draw pulls objects toward you or launches you toward anchors. Blink gives you a short-range teleport to reposition.

The wand consumes mana, which is reloaded manually. Dagger attacks do not consume mana. Sanctum rooms provide a place to save and configure spells.

03 / THE CAMPAIGN

Built to be finished.

Slayer is planned as a complete, 13-mission, globe-spanning campaign, including shorter opening and closing chapters. Its structure emphasizes authored levels, varied combat spaces, and a clear beginning, middle, and end.

04 / THE OPPOSITION

Behind the ivory masks.

The Malfeasance combines the imagery of an occult order with the organization of a paramilitary force. Black and burgundy uniforms, bronze details, and anonymous ivory masks give its varied creatures a shared identity.

05 / DEVELOPMENT STATUS

Forging the first hunt.

Slayer is in development and is not currently available to play. The focus is a polished, complete single-player campaign with carefully scoped combat mechanics and levels. More detailed production updates will be shared as the work takes shape.
